Our Trainer, Melissa, has been riding and showing horses for 40+ years. She specializes in the training of American Saddlebreds, Morgans, and Hackney Ponies. She has spent years honing her skills and ensuring that she has the right ingredients for turning out successful riders. She is skilled at putting teams together that not only look good, but work together cohesively.

Melissa believes in ensuring that students are well rounded, learning not only how to ride horses, but learning good horsemanship on the ground. She believes that horsemanship skills are just as important off the horse as well as they are on the horse. Her philosophy is that teaching students how to properly groom and care for the horse are what give the child that unbreakable bond with their horse.
